1. Overview

OrganisedUs is a family organisation app. You can create an account, save records (including photos and notes), manage tasks, connect with people you trust, and use optional AI features to help find information in your own data.

We only collect what we need to run the service, protect your account, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information we collect

Account information

• Email address
• Display name / username
• Password (stored as a secure hash — we cannot read your password)

Content you provide

• Records, notes, categories, and calendar details
• Images and documents you upload or capture
• Tasks, people connections, and shared circle data
• Messages you send to optional AI features

Device & technical information

• Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)
• Basic diagnostic and server logs (for example request timing and errors)
• App version and platform information needed for support and billing

Purchases

If you subscribe to OrganisedUs Pro, purchase processing is handled by Google Play (and billing partners such as RevenueCat). We receive subscription status needed to unlock paid features — not your full payment card details.

3. How we use information

• Provide, sync, and secure your account and content
• Enable sharing with people and circles you choose
• Send reminders and notifications you opt into
• Power optional AI assistance using your relevant content to answer your questions
• Verify subscriptions and prevent abuse
• Diagnose outages and improve reliability
• Respond to support requests and legal obligations

4. How we share information

We share information only in these situations:

• With people you choose — when you link accounts or share in circles
• Service providers — trusted processors that help us host, authenticate, send push notifications, process subscriptions, or run optional AI features (for example cloud hosting, Google Play / RevenueCat, and AI providers)
• Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect users and the service

Service providers are instructed to use your information only to perform services for us and in line with this policy.

5. Retention & security

We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can delete content in-app where available. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal data unless we must retain limited records for legal, security, or accounting reasons (for example subscription history).

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please use a strong unique password and keep your device protected.

6. Your choices & rights

• Access or update profile details in the app
• Control camera, photos, microphone, and notification permissions in device settings
• Cancel subscriptions through Google Play
• Request account deletion or a copy of your data by emailing us

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law. Contact us and we will help.

7. Children

OrganisedUs is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on this page.
